Homemade Holidays!!!

Hi! Hi! Hellloooooo world!  Whatch-ya'll-doin???? I don't know what it is about Fridays...like my girls are so worn out from the week that they actually fall asleep during their morning rest.  Sooooo here I am with TIME!! Time to browse pinterest for my next project which isssssssssss....ornaments for the best babies in our lives!

Last year, a guest author came to my school, and during her presentation to the kids, she told a story about how she and her siblings only gave each other homemade gifts while growing up and I lovvvvvvvvvvved the idea. Like done done done...doing it as soon as my children are old enough to participate and understand.  So I'm starting the tradition by making something for their "besties."  In the current fantasy in my mind, we're going to make an ornament each year for the same kids so they have their own little collection for their trees. Here's what I found:

What do you think??? I've got to go felt woodland creature right??  The houses are too hard.  The green polka dot is too easy.  I like the balloon and the pinecone, but I want to be able to stitch their names and the year on it!!! Woodland Creatures!!! Yay!! Also...you 100% need to go to the etsy store where those woodland creatures came from.  Everything is cute....EVERYTHING!

Sooo that's Christmas.  For our house, I've been looking for some Chanukah goodness on pinterest and it is SLIM pickins ya'll.  So here's what I'm thinking.  Blue and gold and silver, 8 night version of this with a present in each bag...

Make these baked donuts!! Did you know that you are supposed to eat donuts at Chanukah??? I honestly didn't until I taught at a Jewish Day School....but now I know, so there you go!

And if there's time...

That sure is a lot of craftiness I need to make time for!  Maybe it will all go down this weekend....ahahahah!!  Happy Friday!
